It was October 2000,It was
my birthday and I (Tamara) could have a dog! But what kind of dog should it
be?After a big search and a lot of photos we knew what we wanted, a Sharpei!
It was the cutest thing I'd ever saw.
So the next day on to St.Willibrord,to kennel Damishar.There were 2 adorable
puppies,both beautiful red but also identical.Wich one should we choose?After
a few cups of coffee ,a lot of information from Andre and Heleen and more
playing with the puppies ,..we made the decision.We knew wich one would come
home with us.
On to The Hague with ROGER!!
That would be his name .His full name is LIU MANG CHIH Damishar,but ROGER
is his first name.
Everything went great with our child and was an exellent puppy!
But still,he was a bit lonely
so we decided to find him a girlfriend.After a short search we found a puppy
in Amsterdam.She was an adorable black puppy.She was a beautiful little puppy
of four weeks old.
We we going to name her CHARLOTTE.But we had to wait 4 weeks before she could
come home with us.
When we came home the phone
rang,it was Irma Meijdam,who we got to know during our search for our first
Sharpei.
We'd told her that we were searching for a black puppy .She told us that she
was looking for a temporary home for a dog and because the dog was black she
tought of us.Her name was LAYLA Sin-Tjing-Nien and she was nine months old.To
help Irma out were willing to do that.
So the next day,we were on our way to Driebergen.When I saw Layla ,I completely
fell in love with her.
She was a sweetheart,from that moment on I knew for sure,she has a new home
!
Anyway,in about four weeks
it would be time to pick up Charlotte.
So in 5 months time we would go from no dogs to 3 dogs.That's a real change.So
we thought really hard about it for about 5 minutes and we dicided that Charlotte
was more than welcome.So when everybody told us we were crazy we went to Amsterdam
to get our third baby.
She was so precious,8 weeks old and very shy.
Time passed and we lived for our dogs and in February 2002 it happened.Roger and Charlotte have had a wonderful time together and Charlotte was going to have little puppies.
On June 12th 2002 ,4 beautiful
puppies were born.3 Red and 1 black and all girls.
One really took our attention and we would keep her.We named her ABBEYGAIL.
On Januari 5th 2004,Charlotte
again gave birth to 4 puppies ,2 boys and 2 girls.And again we wanted to keep
one ourselves.That was a fawn girl named Queen(ie).There also was beautiful
red boy.We named him Mike.
Mike is living (and spioled) by the Hardorff family.Every once in a while
we will take Mike to Show.
And last but not least there
is Robin from the Chinese Wall.A beautiful creme coloured boy who we co-own
with sharpeikennel "The Chinese Wall"
